More Haunted places
Today I will take you to another scary place in our state. This one takes place near Seminole, Oklahoma. The place is called the Round House, now mind you that in the daytime there is nothing scary about this place at all. In fact the round house is just a farmhouse that is overgrown with weeds and is in mass disarray. It is out in the country, down a dirt road. I wonder if it is even still standing. There is a story about this house that goes something like this: A german man had built this house, it was a round structure which in the days was really unique. It is told that the man stored up gold and is hidden somewhere on the property. One day appartently he off his rocker and killed his family. After this happened, the house after time was left vacant. So after years went by, kids, mostly teenagers started going there to find adventure and thrill. It was told though one young guy in his early 20's visited the upstairs part of the round house. He had a bet going with some of his friends that he could spend the night there and nothing would happen. The next morning when his friends went to retrieve him his hair had turned completely white. He was frozen and could not speak or move, it is said he had to be put in a mental institution. So one dark night when the moon was full, we visited the dreaded Round House. I was going to be a very brave soul and prove there was no such thing as ghosts. What happened next? Well I bravely entered the front door my boyfriend right behind me. I came to the dreaded staircase, I could barely see my hands in front of my face. I started up the spiraled steps, on about the fourth step, when all of sudden, thump! thump! thump!! I screamed at the top of my lungs "Goddamn" I suprised everyone as I don't usually curse. I then took off like a bolt of lightening. I have never ran as fast as I did that night. My friends had a hard time catching me. They said it had all been a prank, someone threw a bottle in the window so it would sound like someone coming down the stairs. Happy Hauntings until next time, BOO!!!
