Lil Pepe's night with the big cats

Well last night our human dad was worried about Lil Pepe being left out to roam in our home. Mom said not to worry as we did just fine getting along during the day. So I upset that dad would think I box the little kitten around. MOL Well as mom had expected, he did jump around on the bed. Then he was mewing in the middle of the night, kinda like I do at times. It was a bit hilarious though when he bit down on the humans dad toe. I could not resist in laughing myself, I also have done this. Well it brought shrills of laughter from mom as well, she said not to be moving the toes. During the throws of laughter, Lil Pepe was quite proud of himself. He would relax and sleep for a couple of hours then back to the bed to cause more commotion. Needless to say not much sleep around here last night. Mom has made sure though she has been giving all of us a little extra attention and treats. That is the best part of getting a little brother. Mom did give me some information about the little guy. He is 4 months, he has been neutered already, has had all his kitten shots. He was rescued by Ms. Kitty's from another shelter in the MidWest City area, which is about 30 minutes from our home. Mom said when she went to adopt him he was in the cage with 2 other brothers. She said Petsmart makes you call the shelter so they can interview you. She said the voicemail kept coming on when calling the number. She said that was frustrating in itself so finally she found some girl that said she would dial a different number. Which finally the call went through, then she said there was a bunch of paperwork to fill out. Mom said it was almost like buying a car or house. OMC Another hurdle was when the paperwork was finished the girl said to complete the adoption it was cash only transaction. So mom not expecting that either only had the plastic card, so she had to go over to a nearby gas station and use the atm machine. Finally, she gathered up some kitten food and a smaller litterbox, and Lil Pepe in the cardboard box. She said he cried during the car ride, poor little guy probably didn't know what was in store for him. Imagine his suprise to see me.
