Highs have been in the 60's for weeks and last night we had storms and was under a tornado watch. Thankfully no tornados, and today it is very windy, and bad for the allergies. Hard to believe next week is turkey day, oh and Black Friday, no thank you, I will not be out shopping. Since I have this new app it will make it easy to post our stories, I need to start writing again. Would would like to stop and be thankful for a good year. Job changes for the better, a home, and all the necessities of life. God is good, He always provides.

RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-23615450920802665502014-08-08T13:37:00.001-07:002014-08-08T13:37:04.026-07:00Where is the ice cream man?Boy it sure is hot and humid today, I could really go for some ice cream. We haven't seen the ice cream truck in a few days now. Did all of his ice cream melt I wonder? MOL Well mom and human dad did go to PetSmart as promised. We got some of our favorite canned foods and then mom showed me a big bag of our favorite party mix treats. She also got me and Pepe some new balls, one is yellow with feathers and one is a little soccer ball. We had some play time after lunch, but now it is napping time. It is the kind of weather that just seems to zap all of our energy. Hopefully, we can solve the mystery of the ice cream man. Boy have I felt lazy and sleepy all day, maybe it is this weather. Me & Loco Pepe usually have our morning romps, but today we are like not going to happen. The only thing happening in the neighborhood today is the lady next door is getting new windows. The guy has been making all kinds of noise over there, she also had a neat looking dollhouse under a tarp over there, that we seen. I sure wanted to go and investigate, but mommy says that would get me in trouble. Tomorrow is mom and dad going to the store and get our supplies, she did say she would get us a surprise if we were good. OMC We was rudely awakened just as the sun was coming up this morning. So our human dad wakes up every morning about 5:00AM, so we are used to this. However, our mommy likes to get her beauty rest, so she usually gets up later. This morning at about 6:30, dad comes in and wakes mommy up saying he heard someone tapping on the dining room window. So poor mommy was half asleep and he says for her to go check the back rooms windows and he will check the front door. So mommy sees us looking intently out the backroom window. She comes to check it out and just the neighbors making loud noises with the trashcan and doing stuff. So mom is like that is probably what you heard, he is like yea probably so but sounded different. Mommy says it was probably because he watched a movie yesterday called "Kolach: The Night Stalker" which was about a vampire. MOL So mommy thinks his imagination was the real culprit and so do we, now mommy can't go back to sleep. Think we may have to have a nap later and no more night stalker movies for dad. Well the weekend is over! We have another beautiful sunny day in here Oklahoma City! This weekend we enjoyed some really great movies, the best one was Run, Cougar, Run. It was about a momma cougar named "Seeta" it was given to her by a Mexican man named Etio. He loved animals and every night he would play his guitar around the campfire. The animals loved his music and he had a great audience of different birds, deer, and the cougar Seeta. She had 3 kittens that she took care of, and we learned something, once a cougar mates, it is for life. It was just a wonderful movie. Not much happened in the neighborhood except those yappity doggies were having a heyday time barking at nothing. MOL I wonder what is going through their little minds, are they more bark than bite. Oh well, I have discovered that I am not even afraid of them, I love to sit in the window and taunt them. I even blew them kisses once and that made them really mad. Well until next time my friends, have a pawsome day!RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-29914131894187258462014-08-02T13:09:00.001-07:002014-08-02T13:09:10.745-07:00Today was movie day!We just watched a great movie with mom. It was a 1977 classic from the wonderful world of Disney, "The Ghost of Cypress Swamp". It had it's sad moments and then funny, it was action packed too. It was just a day to relax before mom goes to work, we love our fun times. This morning our dad showed mom a clip from Gomer Pyle, USMC, where Gomer brought a cat aboard a Navy ship. It brings back memories for mom, when everything seemed so much simpler in those days. Life is beautiful my friends, relish what you have and never take it for granted. Love Beaver!RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-25568689946166318932014-08-01T10:16:00.000-07:002014-08-01T10:16:10.761-07:00Well it has been awhile since I have been here. It seems like yesterday, a couple of summers have passed. I need to re-focus on my dreams, believe with all my being that is what I was meant to do. I have grown since I last posted here, I have been busy investigating this building. I guess you could say my curiosity is at work again. I think there is a cover up of big brother spying on our neighborhood I have enlisted several neighborhood kitty's and doggy's to help me what is going on in there. They drive to big black suburbans, with darkened windows. The building also has the dark windows, but when you try to look in you cant see anything. However, the other day I was able to catch a glimpse of a small portion of the room. The lighting has to be just right, I could see a big computer monitor, and telephone wires all over the place. My human dad seen one of the guy's outside smoking a cigarette, so he asked him what he did. The guy says, "I work for Boeing". Come on now, really the airplane company that makes the big planes. The airport is miles away from our house, plus they don't make the airplanes in our city. This building looks rundown from the outside, the other side of it has a big for lease sign out front. This has been a big mystery, we hope by the end of the summer we solve it. Well will keep you informed, until then this is Beaver over and out!RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-10013281219969267432012-02-22T17:45:00.001-08:002012-02-22T17:45:24.560-08:00Adventures in CardboardSomething came into our home that was in a extra big box. The human dad brought it in and started opening the box, I was watching from the window in back. In a flash I was in the front room, I was so intrigued and well yes the curiosity was almost killing me! I wanted to help unwrap, human dad said "Beaver please wait and be patient". I didn't care what was in the box, I wanted to explore the box itself. So I sit there in the hurry up mode, licking my fur in a way that sounded more like slurping very loud. Our human dad told me that it was called a "fireplace", I always have wondered what it would be like to sit in front of one. This one was in a wooden box and the outside of it shows a horse drawn carriage. Dad told me the Amish people make the outer shell and it uses electricity instead of firewood. He then plugged it in and turned it on, well it sure is beautiful to see the flames leaping in the air. It is very warm and cozy and the plus is it doesn't get hot on the top, so it is animal safe. I have slept on top of it and give it my seal of approval. Now onto my adventure in the big cardboard box, it is huge so mom made a hole just big enough for our heads and body's through, then she put a few of our toy balls in there. It is like our fort, me and Pepe jump in and out. I like to play hide n seek, I will hide from Pepe and then ambush him. We chase each other around and round, mom said it is good exercise for us, mom said it is huge and ugly though, but we don't care, we love it! I still haven't found a way to roast marshmallows and wieners though, that is my next adventure. Life itself is a adventure, get going on yours today.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-1444238930113962762012-02-19T08:36:00.000-08:002012-02-19T08:36:28.860-08:00Who broke the Toilet Seat?Last night mom was taking herself a luxurious bubble bath as usual, every night. Me and Pepe love to be in there and she will let us play with bubbles, and she also has a bottle of bubbles. So we love spending time with mom, but you know boys will be boys right? We get a little rowdy trying to see who will get the most of mom's attention. So mom is already done with her bath she leaves the bathroom and has her comfy robe on starting to watch TV. Then she hears a big crash and sees me & Pepe fleeing the scene of the crime. Mom runs to see what made the big crash and that is when she sees the toilet seat broken. It was all the way off the toilet stool, human dad also comes in and asks what was that noise. Then she proceeds to tell of me & Pepe, partners in cahoots expeditions. Well after mom thought about it she started to laugh hysterically at the thought of 2 cats breaking a toilet seat. Human dad is less amused, but then he starts to laugh as well. Who would have thought 2 fluff balls could break a toilet seat? I looked at mom with the sweetest face I could muster up, and I tried to blame Pepe as the culprit as I think he weighs more than I. Mom said my tummy has been getting a bit bigger too, I tried to protest by yowling "I didn't do it". Well I very well couldn't say much that they would understand. Pepe went and hid too, that little coward. Well tomorrow is another day, I will let it take care of it self.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-51438751644708050102012-02-17T10:51:00.000-08:002012-02-17T10:51:30.254-08:00Why do I chase Princess?Well I am sure that many of my friends know how much I love to chase the Princess. It drives mom batty too, because Princess is going to be 15 years old this year. Mom says she is a senior kitty, as is the another male cat Tigger. She says it is the kitty's golden years and they don't need a lot of stress. Well as for myself I don't have a clue to why I love doing this so much. I think it is because she is the only female in our household, I really think she is beautiful though. So last week me and Pepe were relentless in our chasing her, she would get so scared, she would run under the bed. Then when that happened she accidently used the bathroom under the bed. Poor mom had to get under there and clean and scrub. Mom said that is it boys, we got a long lecture on not chasing and scaring her. So mom decided on a plan, when bedtime came around and to give the Princess some peace, she decided to put her in the back bedroom at night. Then when mom gets up in the morning she lets her out and puts her cat bed on the sofa so she can sit with mom and watch television. Everything was going smoothly at last mom thought, but something got into us yesterday. Me and Pepe as soon as mom let Princess out of the bedroom we ran after her and chased her. She ran to the kitchen to eat, mom fed us and we ate. As soon as Princess finished eating we were back after her, mom had to go to work. So our human dad was here with us, when mom called him to check on us, he was like I don't know what came over them boys. When mom came home we were looking as innocent as new born baby alligators. Mom was like and what did you boys do today? I just kept looking at her sheepishly, she petted me and said Beaver please stop chasing Princess. Well today is mom's day off and we are acting like little angels, if she only knew.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-68490524217374727352012-02-15T16:46:00.000-08:002012-02-15T17:24:43.625-08:00Treasure HuntingHave I ever told you how much I love anything that sparkles? From rhinestone's to diamonds, silver, gold, and even Christmas garland. I seem to have so many obsessions for a house cat. Mom finds her pieces of missing jewelry scattered throughout the house, oh and do jewelry boxes deter me any? The answer is no, my extra toes can wriggle its way into anything that is supposed to be cat proof. There is child proof hatches on the kitchen cabinets, I can take one toe and wedge them open with no problem. This afternoon was really more than a little boring, I woke up from my nap with a desire to go treasure hunting. I had my eye on a new sparkly bracelet I had seen mom hide in the jewelry box. The first part was climbing atop the dresser drawers, to be very quite while maneuvering my way up there. I completed the climb fairly easy, next was the jewelry box. With 3 paws on the dresser itself I then wedged my toes one at a time to get under the lid. Finally, I had it raised up just enough to grab the bracelet, I gently put it in my mouth. Next, I jumped off the dresser ever so quietly. I ran with all my might into the closet to inspect my treasure, it sure was a beauty. Then as they say all good things must come to a end, I was caught in the act. Mom had seen me out of the corner of her eyes, she told me the bracelet was off limits. I pouted the rest of the afternoon. Next time I will need to be more careful.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-24371103610924376252012-02-13T17:38:00.000-08:002012-02-13T17:51:32.005-08:00Snow today, gone today!Well last night we finally got some snow, it was3-4 inches worth. I like looking at it is very pretty, mom was restless and woke up at 2:00 AM. She looked outside with me and we see the neighbors cat Hawkins across the street, it looked like he was having fun. I just shook my head, thankful that I am a indoor cat. Pepe was little last year and I don't think he understood what it was, he was going from window to window mesmerized by the fluffy white stuff. He would look at mom and meow, she thought it was cute. Hence that darn flashy thing came out again, needless to say more photos. Pepe is such a momma's boy, she loves it cause he sometimes sleeps by her. I jump on the bed sometimes, but I don't stay up there long. Pepe & Wally are the only bed cats, so mom don't understand why I am so independent. I thought all cats were supposed to be that way, my uncle Tigger gets up there sometimes, but he is a senior cat. Tigger still chases Pepe and hisses at him to keep him in line which is really comical at times. I think though Pepe is really helping to keep Tigger young. Well I hear my bed calling my name, so calling it a night. Sweet dreams my friends!RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-84113806618107526642012-02-12T13:39:00.000-08:002012-02-12T13:58:29.586-08:00Case of the Opened DoorThis morning was almost like any other morning, me & Pepe wake up extra early to play in the dark. What can I say, us cats are nocturnal creatures. Mom knows me & Pepe like to play a little extra hard sometimes, we not mean too, but we do. Thus the reason for trying to give the older cat Princess some peaceful rest in one of the back bedrooms. At night mom takes Princess and her bed into the back bedroom and shuts the door. The door has a tight fit and sometimes mom has to really push to get it open. However, this morning our human dad, since he gets up early to bring Princess out, walks in to do so and the door is already opened. Then he goes and tells mom, she was suprised and Princess was cowering under recliner because we had chased her there. So then human dad is saying which of you did this, well with the most innocent look I could muster, looked at mom. Mom is like Beaver was it Pepe, then human dad says he thinks one of us hoisted the other one while that turned the knob. Mom said we probably both got our paws and pulled it open. Princess is a senior cat of 15 years of age, mom doesn't know why we love to chase her so much. I just think it is fun, surely it isn't cause I like older more experienced girl cats is it? I myself am not sure and Pepe is the same way, sometimes we drive poor mom loony with our chasing. Well I say it is cause Valentine's Day is coming up and I want her to be my Valentine.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-47401694519130133702012-02-11T16:18:00.000-08:002012-02-11T16:42:08.295-08:00Photo DayWe woke up to a beautiful morning, the birds were tweeting, the sky was gray. Nevertheless, I was a happy kitty, we and Pepe had breakfast, then we notice the dreaded flashy thing. I am like UGH! Not on such a wonderful day. So I decide I had better hide and hide good. Fortunately, Pepe was the first unwilling candidate. I hear mom fussing over him, saying he looked so cute in that little red hat. So I am like "thank God" and mom pretends to go about her housework and I am unaware. I decide to crawl into my favorite box and take a little snooze. I am having a wonderful dream about catnip and chasing a mouse. Therefore, I am totally oblivious to what comes next. Right in the middle of the dream I see the flash of light. Mom is like Beaver you look so cute, will you please pose for Mommy? So I give her those dreamy bedroom eyes and let her take the photo thinking that will be the end. Oh no, then she wants me to wear the red sun visor, I grumble and groan. I let her take a couple more photos. Then she decides she wants a close-up, I am like mom that takes the cake! I growl at her, I am like I am too through mom. Then she has the nerve to call me Mr Crabby, how dare she! Well I spent the rest of the day pouting and napping. Thus it tells you how humans love to spoil what could be such wonderful days.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-47846398360217939102012-02-10T13:52:00.000-08:002012-02-10T13:56:17.527-08:00Brrr it is cold!Well we have been having some really strange weather this year. It has been unseasonably warm until here comes February and now it decides it wants to turn cold. Most of the lawns on our street have even turned green. I think Mother nature is off course, maybe she needs to see someone about her problem. So they are talking that we might finally see some snow over the weekend. I sure don't want to get my toes in it though. Me and Pepe have some plans though and we are just waiting to find some.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-24952242063867341722012-02-09T13:48:00.000-08:002012-02-09T13:56:31.882-08:00Where have I been?Well life just has too many things going on. I find myself doing so many other things, then I am tired and sleepy by the end of the day. I also find that just as other writers I am sure, I get writers block. Then you start putting off things, get busy at work, the time just flies by some days. Writing takes a big commitment, it also takes a way to just get away from it all. Clearing your mind is so hard to do living in a city. I think it is good if you can just get away from the busyness that comes with life. So now I think I must find a adventure to go on.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-52918802367739592172011-03-20T12:10:00.000-07:002011-03-20T12:41:38.352-07:00Supermoon or Supercat?Well let's just say there is so many things happening in this world that we live in. As a cat I do stayed tuned to what is going on. Actually we know more than humans at times because we have better vibes. There is so much sadness, you see the quakes first in New Zealand and then Japan, with the tsuamani. Then you hear about all the fighting that is going on with some other countries. I have alot of friends all over the world, we do try to help where we can. We do have a very dear friend named @Mariodacat (Our Supercat) and his bloggy is the place where we can do what is called chip-ins. Then other animal friends also going to the Rainbow Bridge. I must admit it is hard to remain positive at times, however mom says we must trust in the Lord our Savior. I may not be over religious, but I know he holds a place for us animals too. He created this earth and I think He is trying to get the humans attention. My mom tries to see the beauty in everything and everyone. Yesterday we had what is called the supermoon, we did not stay up to watch it. Today is the first day of spring and it sure is a very lovely day with a warm 80 degrees. We can see the male & female cardinal coming to our feeder, along with the blue-jays, wrens, and a mockingbird that sings non-stop which is very pretty. We also have the daffodils, peach tree, and some other spring flowers in full bloom. Just so much to enjoy this time of year, and we are shedding which isn't so fun. So mom got us a new power de-shedder that massages us as she brushes us. She figured out why we love it so much more is because the soft noise it makes sounds like a purring sound. Mom said it probably soothes us more than just a regular brush or comb. She also got us a couple of feather toys, with lots of the new Fancy Feast with cheddar cheese. We do feel so lucky to have a furever home here. Well until my next adventure my friends have a great week, many purrs.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-75787234951593916742011-03-06T10:50:00.000-08:002011-03-06T11:23:02.399-08:00Adventure's with PepeWell we have had some exciting things going on here last week. My little brother has gotten into all sorts of things. I don't think he is a cat for one thing, I think he is a miniture tiger. Those stripes on him is stunning, he when he runs through our home his meows are that of a small roar; mom says it is "the call of the wild" sound. A few nights ago he got to playing around with a pop box that held one lone cherry soda. He was jumping in and out of that box when he decided to jab it with one of his claws. Before I knew it, I heard a big Hiss and a spewing. The noise was loud enough that it made mom jump and me too; then it started going everywhere. Poor Pepe took off like a bullet and so did I. Mom had to run and put it over the sink and she was laughing. Our dad didn't think our shenanigans was funny at all, he said words I am not allowed to say. So I asked him how he had did this, mom said she never seen the likes of a cat ever doing this. He told me he has a claw that is like steel. Well he was forgiven for that little episode, now he decided he wants to be a cosmotoligist. Mom sometimes at night wears what is called soft rollers. Well a couple of nights ago she decided to fix her hair and put it in rollers. Pepe had never seen anything like this before. He got really fascinated by those rollers. Mom awoke in the middle of the night with him sniffing them and gently tugging at them. Mom said her hair had never stayed as curly before Pepe actually did this. Then this morning she caught him trying to help her put on her make-up. Seems like he loves that blush brush. He also was intent on the lipstick color she was wearing, he bit her lightly when she picked the wrong color. Mom can only sit and wonder what we are going to do next. MOL Until next time my friends, happy reading.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-41556508842000557942011-03-01T15:22:00.000-08:002011-03-01T16:32:59.825-08:00Roadtrip Fever: I can drive<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrHPxkWfueboAgfjfCUBJh95okDsjfdyicbWBS2sP3UHuSiNeMPtco5a1dZ931xhcqS-fl69K6w7WmhO1O6U8yRD6Wd2CIfSC3RcHfVz2R4hu4uVihffCfe3XX0-oHNgGMufw4XjPCBusk/s320/beaverincar.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5579256374027519154" />
Can cats drive you make ask. Well of course we can drive. I even has a driver's license, I love the wind blowing through my fur. This spring like weather has my paws itching to go somewhere. The thrill of adventure has me almost in a catatonic state of overdrive. When my nostrils smell the clean earthy smell of dew on the ground, I know it is almost time. I get out my compass, camping gear, backpacks, and fishing rods. I really enjoy roadtrips the most when some of my dearest and closest friends can come along with me. @Wildaboutbirds, @Snowydaze, @Herbie_Cat, @MarioDaCat, @No_crybaby_doGs, and so many others. I think we all are still reeling from the coldest and worst winter in our states history. We had record snowfalls and some of the coldest temperatures on record. So I am pretty sure all of us could use some fresh mountain air. Whether hiking or mountain climbing, I am in it for pure clean adventure. Also, I have a new metal detector I am just exstatic about finding some treasure that has been buried. My claws can dig from here to China and I have found so many neat things. Awhile back on one of my adventures I found a real indian arrowhead. It is small and pink, I found it here in our native state of Oklahoma. I was told that it goes back to over a 100 years ago and was probably used for small game, like a rabbit or squirrel. Just think of all the story's that this small artifact holds, it gives me goosebumps just to think about it. Well I will close for now, have fun my dear friends and continue to read about my adventures.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-9510428014695868022011-02-22T14:42:00.000-08:002011-02-22T15:04:56.146-08:00Our New RoofWell last week we had a really scary ordeal. Mom explained to us kitty's that we were going to get a new roof, and she said was going to be a little noisy in our home. She said that she knew sooner or later this would happen. This was from the damage we had from a hail storm last summer, the insurance adjustors took their time and then because we decided to wait on a reliable company to do our roof. When storms come through mom said that everybody is looking for cheap help and all kind of bad ordeals happen such as scam. A little noisy my bigfoot! That was a big lie! The roofers arrived at 9:AM on the first day, they brought ladders, saws, and other monster machines. I heard the first crash as they had to get a forklift and unload the shingles, plywood, and other supplies. That machine was going beep beep beep and then with a thud, they put all supplies in the driveway. Then it sounded like a thousand hungry ants up on the roof. Next thing we know they are throwing all the old shingles off and wood shingles were covered over by some newer shingles. Next thin we know they go and knock the satellite over to side of roof and we didn't have TV. It was like living in the dark ages with nothing to do. I cried and meowed loud about this. Then we hear them guys had a radio up there listening to some Mexican radio station. I am like what in the world? My siblings Wally, Princess, Tigger, and Pepe where all deathly afraid of the noises going on. However, mom did praise me and said I was very brave. I ventured out and spoke my mind about the noise. I made a real fuss about missing my favorite programs on TV, so mom tried to make it up to me by serving tuna. The second day they arrived at 8:AM and they stay until about 7:PM, luckily they fininshed the job the second day. Mom said for us having to endure the noises and strangers we got more tuna and catnip. Well we have a nice new roof now. It is a beautiful slate grey the contractor said it brought out the color of our bricks. I am just happy no more noise to complain about. Purrs until next time.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-69952287854598799872011-02-08T12:11:00.000-08:002011-02-08T12:30:18.929-08:00Who You Gonna Call?<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 218px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW8tBOGSWtcPis7-d9xDF-2IkliExKhHWEInV3jBneOOqcVYxnhCaYtPEeXFL5ZbpGylXJwEWIR68V_lyTY2_V1p-ESpLgYeU9_xRZGx9lRn400xqeAG9XMLHq81J9rVyYzAkqO_Q9JyQC/s320/beavy+bruce.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571414134668975442" />
Today my adventure is the life of a spycat. I love adventure and the ruggedness of James Bond. That is how I got started in this business of spying. It is for duty and the well-being of our country and homeland. Have you ever noticed how many cats are actually in James Bond movies? That beautiful silver persian and always in the hands of the bad guy. However, I am like James Bond the good guy. He also has alot of the most beautiful women there is, I know alot of beautiful girl cats. I also love to drink nipitini's shakin and not stirred mind you. Working as a spycat you have to have alot of gadgets and the more the better. My first purchase was a survelliance camera, this allows me to get up close with the bad cats. There is this mean old tomcat up the street that loves to come by and taunt us. My weapon of choice is a garden hose and a spurt of water to my nemisis. He never seen it coming, made him dart off like a rabbit. Score for me, now I have him scared for a moment. I have a little brother to help in my escapades. His name is Pepe, I put him up on a perch in our cat tree. When he sees the tomcat he meows the alarm. Being a spycat is really tough, but when all is said and done. Catnap time it is.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-39534375871482655632011-01-26T15:26:00.000-08:002011-01-26T16:55:44.111-08:00CAUGHT!! Smoking in the boy's roomFeeling stressed I decided to try something new. My human dad is a smoker and mom will not let him smoke indoors because of her asthama. She was around second hand smoke 24/7 during her childhood days her father was a chain smoker. When she got into her twenty's she was diagnosed with asthama. So she hated being around smoke and our human dad knows this. He is trying to cut back on his smokes and so he told her to hide his cigarettes and give him a certain amount a day. So this morning she took out his allowed amount of cigarettes and hid the packs from him. So guess where she puts them? In the same place the socks are in her bedroom dresser drawer. I took that pack of cigarettes and raced through the house with my new prize. Then I ran to my box I hide in and carefully opened the top. There was some brown stuff in there that was chopped up like catnip. Well I took a little hit of it thinking it was nip. I am feeling fine now, and my head is spinning a little. Think I will stash some of these in my secret hiding place. MOLRRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-4284383988910111782011-01-21T12:30:00.000-08:002011-01-21T12:48:35.981-08:00Confession of a Tub-aholicWell I am revealing more of myself yet again. So here it goes: I really don't even remember how it this obession came about. Other than the fact that it seems all the boy kitties in our home have this fascination of the tub. You may wonder why not the fancy ceramic bowls that mom got us? I truly think though the water in the ceramic bowl gets stale. Mom a few years ago even got us waterfall drinking fountain. That didn't last very long either, we would all dab our paws in it. It got to where we thought of it as more of a plaything than to drink from it. We would splash water from it and get it all over the floor. Also, we didn't like it near our food bowls so mom even placed it on a mat in the dining room. One day she came home from work and to her amasement all the water was gone. We had splashed and played in it, the whole area around the mat was soaking mat. We were actually laughing at the whole ordeal. Our human dad had been letting the tub drip a little as in the winter months it is good to let the faucets drip when temperatures drop into the single digits. Mom noticed Tigger and Wally were the first she noticed drinking from it. One day though when she picked me up, guess what? My little toes were all wet. Mom said "Beaver why are your feet all wet. I just blinked my eyes and smiled. Later when mom goes to take her bath, she sees me sitting there just a lapping at the faucet. Now it is a battle sometimes to get me out of there so she can bath. She came up with a idea where when it is bath time it is also play time. She got us a bottle of catnip bubbles and so while she is soaking she blows me, Wally, and Pepe bubbles so it doesn't get the carpet sudsy. So there you have it- I confess I am a tub-aholic. Many purrs to each of you!RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-62420848861068878582011-01-16T11:22:00.000-08:002011-01-16T11:39:09.677-08:00Confession time Again Oh No!!I was at it again with the socks this week. MOL The devil made me do it! I was caught in the act actually, I felt quite embarassed by it all, mom was coming into the bedroom and seen me with socks in tow. She caught me by suprise and couldn't help but laugh about it. Well I still am trying to amend my ways. I also have another secret that only mom and dad know about. Mom thinks I am the only cat in the world that probably does this. This is how I like to be fed, I will totally eat all my food unless I am being petted. I will follow mom or dad into the kitchen and cry and rub around their legs purring. I keep this up until I get them to bend over and pet me only then I will lap up all my food. Dad says maybe it stems from mom petting me as a kitten when eating. Mom said her back used to not hurt as bad back then, so now I make her stoop over for at least a few minutes at a time. Well naptime is calling my friends, until we meet again. Purrs and hugs to all. xoxoxoRRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3137841791530550696.post-26555595252304082442011-01-07T13:53:00.000-08:002011-01-07T14:09:50.203-08:00My Passion for SocksOkay everybody has something that they may not want others to know. In my case it is a passion for cotton socks. I am not so sure why I love them so much but I just do. Being a cat I would say I surely don't want to wear them, hehe. Maybe it is the way mom folds them into this nice little sort of a knot. So it started when mom goes and leaves her sock drawer open just a little. She is always in a hurry in the morning because she can't get the day started without caffiene. I purrsonally don't like it much, it smells good and unless there is cream & sugar. Well I just shudder at that. Well on with my story, so one day she leaves and didn't even notice she left it open just enough for me to go and stick my paw in. Inch by inch my little paw pries it open. I discover all these beautiful white cotton socks. They are in there gleaming and beckoning to me. So at first I smell them, then I gently put my teeth into a pair and off I go with it. They are so light weight and very comfy to my teeth. Next I go and find a nice little hiding place for my prize which is under the bed. Every morning I wait and watch for mom to leave the drawer open just once again. This routine goes on for a month and mom is never the clever. Well until I hear her say that somehow just knows something is happening with her socks, she even goes out and buys some more. This is the funny part, she goes and buys a big bag full. There is about 10 or 12 pairs in the bag, I watch her and await until she leaves the drawer open again. However, the very next day she drops a earring on the floor by the bed; what she discovers next is my obession. She sees these neat little piles of my treasure. I feel a little embarassed, but my love overcomes the embarassment. Well mom has wised up and doesn't leave the drawer open any longer. However, she did go and give me my very own pair of socks to keep as my own.RRCattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00014455082596853047noreply@blogger.com4
